REQUIREMENTS - SUCCESS FACTORS (Why job exists, what areas it impacts on, requirements to do the job, and Success Factors)Working under the direction of the Global Sourcing Laboratory Supervisor, this position is responsible for reducing material costs by working with the local, regional, and corporate purchasing teams to identify and evaluate locally manufactured raw materials and intermediates. The incumbent will work with various SBU designated technical teams to approve the use of locally produced materials for use in various PPG coatings technologies. When locally produced materials are approved for use, the incumbent will work with the SBU technical teams and the Tianjin quality control team to establish appropriate quality control specifications and procedures. The incumbent will also be responsible for quality control testing and approving of raw material lots prior to their release to other PPG sites.要求Requires: 1.Should meet all related requirements regarding Quality Management Systems and EHS Management Systems. 工作须符合质量管理体系和EHS管理体系的相关要求。2.A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related fields.3.A minimum of one year experience in a paint development or quality control laboratory. Familiarity with paint related raw materials and paint technology are required. 4.The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin and have good report writing and presentation skills.
